Easter 2006

Kendall had a great Easter! She had a ball finding eggs during the Easter Egg hunt.



Kendall and Alex even had a practice run with Pepaw's help before the actual hunt since it looked like a storm coming, just to make sure we got some pictures of them hunting eggs for this year.







We especially needed pictures since we didn't get a picture of her with the Easter Bunny this year! We made three attempts this year but Kendall wanted NO PART of the Easter Bunny! I have to get this girl on a horse soon, judging by the strength she has in those little legs! She clamped down on my waist and was not going to let go!! We had a great Easter even though we missed Daddy, since he had to work all day. Kendall also had lots of fun twirling in the front yard in her Easter dress after the storm passed with Alex and Pepaw. She loves to twirl in her pretty dress!

Barney Live!

Grandma and Pepaw took Alex and Kendall (and the mommies) to see Barney Live. We had dinner before the show at TGI Friday's and got Barney light sticks on the way in. Grandma & Pepaw really made a special night of it. You could tell the kids knew something was going on but weren't sure what. Kendall LOVED it! She had sooo much fun! She didn't sit still the entire show. She danced, bounced, swayed and sang! She danced in the aisle, in the chair, and on Mommy! They said she talked all day about Barney the next day at school. I wasn't sure she would make it through the whole show but she did great and loved every minute of it! She is still playing with her light up Barney stick and will probably show off her Barney shirt at school on Monday!

No more crib for Kendall! Kendall woke us up yesterday morning with a loud thunk! We both jumped out of bed and ran to her room. She was standing in the middle of the floor holding her head and crying. She climbed/fell out of her crib! She has been going back and forth between her crib and big girl bed. If she is restless I have been using her crib since she will get out of her big girl bed and end up sleeping in the floor if she wakes up in the night. Guess I will have to figure out a way to get her off the floor and back in bed without waking her! The challenges of being a Mommy! :-) Kendall is still doing very well in school. She has had many great days and no bad reports! She's such a good girl!
