October 13, 2007 Trick or Treating at the Louisville Zoo

We went to the Louisville Zoo last night to Trick or Treat. They have candy and the kids all dress up in their costumes. Halloween fun for the kids without the scary stuff! There are zoo employees dressed up like all kinds of characters. Kendall was dressed up like Sleeping Beauty so she had her picture taken with the zoo Sleeping Beauty. It was even more fun since Uncle Charlie, Aunt Lisa, and Cousins Lindsay and Layla were in town to go with us! Grandma and Pepaw, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Darrell, and Cousins Alex and Adam came too! Kendall rode the carousel with Layla and had lots of fun! And she went down the big blow up slide with Lindsay. She had so much fun! She enjoys seeing her two big girl cousins. All of the cousins had a good time together. Kendall and Alex were a little upset that they didn't get to ride the train, the line was just too long and it was time for bed already, they were so tired! But Grandma & Pepaw called this morning, picked Kendall up and took them back to the zoo to ride the train! No wonder they are both rotten! But what a great Grandma & Pepaw! :-)

Huber's Pumpkin Patch Sept. 30, 2007

It's time for Halloween festivities! Kendall has been having lots of fun. Last weekend we went to Huber's Farm with Grandma, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Darrell, and cousins Alex and Adam to go to the pumpkin patch and pick our pumpkins. Kendall and Alex love to ride on the tractor pulled wagon out to the patch, I think that is their favorite part! We also played in the farm and petting zoo area. We rode out on the little tractor pulled wagon and fed the goats then Alex and Kendall rode on the barrel drum wagons, kind of like a mini roller coaster! Kendall really liked that too. She had lots of fun!

On a different note, Kendall has been doing very well with going without the pacifier! She has no problem leaving it in the bed. She only has it in the bed and she doesn't whine anymore for it! Such a big girl!
