March 28, 2009 Time for Kindergaren

I just can't believe it! My baby is going to start kindergarten this summer. Time has just flown by, it is amazing! I look at the pictures on the wall of Kendall at each age and just wonder where the time went. Kendall with her cute little smile and chubby little cheeks, she was sooo cute, such a happy baby. Now she looks all grown up, she looks like a little girl instead of a baby. She may be going to the summer program at her school this summer instead of daycare. This would give her a few months to get used to being in a big school with lots of kids before kindergarten actually starts. They have a lot of activities she would absolutely love, it is just a little scary for Mommy and Daddy. They will go to the pool twice a week, that makes me VERY nervous, Kendall has NO fear of the water, she will jump in without the slightest hesitation. They will also go the the zoo and the science center, so I will probably plan to go with her to those just to make sure she is okay. I have been at the zoo before and kids on a field trip were running around without anyone supervising them in sight, no one had a clue where they were or what they were doing. That is very scary to think of Kendall wandering away and no one realizing it. I'm sure she would be fine and that school's teachers/parents are not the same as her school, but she is such a busy 4 yr old and she has never met a stranger!
